• Most importantly dress for you - you can’t please everyone so start by dressing to please yourself and to feel amazing!

Embracing your own style, not someone else’s. • Your style will feel authentic and unique because it’s matching you not someone else. Sure, take inspiration from others and trends, but over-reliance and copying is only going to keep you and your style from finding its grove.

Buy less.
• Capitalist fashion wants to overwhelm you, wants you to panic buy, wants you to feel the need to shop each trend. You don’t have to. When you’re confident in your style and know what your style is you stop buying aimlessly.

Buy for longevity.
• If you know what your style is you’re going to want pieces that are workhorses in your wardrobe. Pieces that are going to last for years to come because they work with WHO YOU ARE.

Buying secondhand first.
• If you’re looking for a specific piece, take a look at op shops, consignments shops or Designer Wardrobe first. Vintage quality is almost always better than today’s.

Versatile wardrobes.
• Most of us want a mixable and versatile wardrobe. This comes much more naturally when you know your palette, cuts and your style.

Beautiful Paige came in to get help with making her wardrobe more cohesive, versatile and workable. Our full package is fantastic for this - you get colour analysis, style archetype analysis and shape analysis.

SPOILERS BELOW:

- Paige could be mistaken at first glance for a Winter but with her ashy hair and softer chroma she looks amazing in colours that also contain this attributes (summer) but she also needs depth.
- Soft Summer contains the deepest shade of the Summer season. We particularly loved the burgundy and plums on her!
- Colour dimensions are all spectrums. And while Paige falls best into the Soft Summer palette she is also very cool so Cool Summer is her second best season and she can use both to create different feels for different occasions.

Sometimes, it can be tricky to spot whether certain colours have a cooler or warmer base. Especially navys and browns!

So, grab a chunky piece of gold and silver jewelery and lay them both on the fabric.

Does the silver stand out in a bad way while the gold looks seamless? Then the colour leans warm!

If the gold looks tacky against it but the silver sings, then the colour leans cool!
